For the third year in a row, Yellowstar has been awarded the Great Place To Work certificate. This year’s overall score of 89 once again bettered those of previous years. We are extremely proud to bear the title of Great Place to Work for another year.
Marieke Hoogendoorn from Great Place To Work digitally presented the certificate to Yellowstar’s CFO Marcel Bakker. Marcel: “We have managed to achieve a higher score for the third year in a row. I am extremely proud of this. We have carefully listened to our Stars and have invested a lot of energy in all the focus areas that emerged from last year’s employee satisfaction survey. The fact that we are now scoring higher across the board brings a big smile to my face. Such a result can only be achieved if everyone is committed. ‘Plan yourself a smile’, that is what we always say. At Yellowstar, we aim for a workplace that our employees can be proud of. An atmosphere of trust and camaraderie is central to this. We believe in the development from good to great and will continue to do everything in our power to improve our workplace even further in the future.”
A personal approach during corona outbreak as well
Our Stars describe Yellowstar's culture as fair and open, with ample freedom and responsibility within the Star family. Successes are celebrated together and everyone is offered the opportunity for personal development. Yellowstar attaches tremendous value to its employees and always opts for a personal approach.
Additional questions have been asked regarding the situation surrounding corona. Employees indicate that they are not experiencing any problems when working from home, are able to cooperate well with colleagues and also feel sufficiently involved in the organisation. Marcel: “At Yellowstar, everyone has the choice of working from home or at the office. Certain colleagues are not able to work from home due to specific circumstances; for this reason, our office has been made corona-proof.” Next year, the focus will be on further optimising the work environment, both at home and in the office.
